one word

if I could put this year in to one word it word it would be unforgettable because there were a lot of unforgettable moments of this year it may not have seen like it at the start of the year but in ended it unforgettable moment the I will never want to go will reagent because that is the way it might always be for me and i don't mind if that's they way it will be for ever and ever.

the fourth day of adventure week

The whole class when to jelly park the way there was unforgettable and when we got there we got the instructions on what to do and what not to do  since i wasn't swimming me and my friend when to pick a spot to sit in for the day but the bad thing was that we didn't pick other two people for our school did and it wasn't in the shade so i got really burnt and it heart so bad after we got there at 10:00 am and then everyone got dressed and went swimming at like 1:00 pm everyone got out then stop swimming some people jumped back in but the others got dressed and sat down to talk I was hanging out with all my friend and we were talk about after school because it was formal but me Maiah and Cayden weren't going because we are year sevens and I was so sad that we couldn't go but when we were starting to leave we started to walk out and go to wait for the bus we were broad so we mad some tik toks and then got on the bus and went back to school and went home this was the most funnest week I have ever had part from I didn't go on Friday because i slept in but it was still fun and thank you for an unforgettable week Rawhiti school

the third day of adventure week

in the morning we play a game of were wolves but I didn't know how to play so Sharon teaches me and after all that fun and amazing stuff.
we went back out to panting just like yesterday.
then sadly back on to computers and working so we have done a bit of work this week and to Finnish the day all up we play a really great game of were wolves i think i love this game more than any thing

the second day of adventure week

in the morning we were going to play a game of skip bo but nogo said who ever goes and help helan pant will get a juice so i went and so did my mates.
we were painting the back of a biding at school to show kids a great picture when they walk into and out of school.
the second thing I did was bull rush because nogo was starting a game or there was flax weaving and well I don't know how to weave so I picked bull rush its soo fun.
the second to last thing we did was go on the computers and Finnish of a time table for this week of what we did.
lastly we made some cookies and when we finished that nogo put some music on and some funny dance to learn so we did that and my sister was there joining in this was another fun day I hope it last the hole week.

the first day of adventure week

today I got to school at a very early time it was like seven thirty and then I had to wait so long for my friends to get to school
.when they finally did the bell was just about to ring so we walked in to class and sat down and listen for what we were doing for they day i had to go to flip out at twelve forty five so for the morning i didn't know what I was gonna do but we end up having a game of skip bo and then after break we had juices and we get them the hole week if we bring money so i'm gonna bring money every day that I can there are two flavors lemonade witch is yellow and black currant witch is dark purple and i'm gonna try to get black currant every day I got one to day because mr senchman bought me one and I was soo happy.
At flip out I had an amazing time and i hope it stays the same the hole week

how to play GS and GK

in netball GS and GK they can only go in the cemmy circles and in the third but if you are playing GS or GK you should stay in the cemmy circle so then if the ball come down your way fast then you will be ready for it.

how to play WA and WD in netball

so if you didn't know this is a netball court do you see where the cemmy circle are wa and wd cant go into them if I started on the left side then I can go up to the line on the right side I cant go pasted that or else it would be the other teams ball and that's call off side I have done it a couple of time's I didn't mean to  also went you take more than one step that's called stepping. you will get a toss at the start if you win you get to pick hoop or ball and well we normally pick hoop but sometime ball if we were playing at our school. also there are four couriers in the game there would be a person keeping the time and also some one should be from each team keeping score or there might be a wrong score and then you will never really know if you don't keep score.

the lady that climb to latter to go some where

She had been walking all day. Her feet hurt and her bones ached but it would all be worth it; she was
almost there.


The path rose up in front of her,twisting through the mist like a snake squeezing its prey, were the
stories all true? Did the path truly lead where she had been told ? if it did, this was only just the
beginning of her journey…


She started to Climb but  suddenly the steps off the ladder started to fall off she keep on climbing up the
steps where getting cold very fast so she was trying to hurry up the ladder as fast as she could go.


Thirty minutes past she looked up she still couldn't see the top yet she looked down and she couldn't
see the bottom anymore she felt so dizzy from looking down she was getting really light headed and
sick she felt like she needed to cough she keep on going.


Then about forty minutes later she needs to stop she had been climbing and walking her legs were In
pain, then all the clouds cleared away and she could finally see the top but it was still a long way up but
she was running out of breath and her arms and legs were numb she took a break .


Half way threw her break she heard a loud growl she cut her break short and started to climb faster than
before and that was fast. 


She heard the growl again and again it was getting closer every growl then she was only about four
meters to go until she reached the top she kept going the other growl happened it was like the thing
that was growling was next to her.


Then she was only about one meter away from the top and she heard it again it sounded like it was
in front of her and not just that but it sounded in pain she wanted to go back down and help but that
means she would half to take another day to climb back up the latter.


It hit nightfall and she could not see where she was headed and then oh no…….
in a blink of an eye  she slipped and fell but she quickly grab one of the steps.


But now it was longer to climb up again because she was in pain and sleepy but she still climb and
climb and then just when she ought the growling stopped a huge growl came out of nowhere she was
very well awake after that loud growl she even was climbing faster.

sun rise awoke and she was very determined to climb the ladder but she was closer than she was
before and there was only a bit of the way to go and when she got to the top and……….

we had to make a self port rate but I wanted to do a full body it was easy but I didn't do it perfect

Reflections 2019

Reflections of 2019


This is a written reflection of your 2019 year as a Year 7 and Year 8
student. 


Year 8 students you have two years reflection of being in Tangaroa.
A lot has changed since you came as a Year 7.


Year 7 students you have one year of being in Tangaroa to describe how
you ‘fitted’ in from the start of the year. At first I didn't actually think I
would fit in at first but now I think I fit in way better than before because
the class treats me like any other kid in the class.


Section A
What were your highlights over the two years or for this year? (Explain in
detail)
Working with the teachers and them helping me improve on most of my
work and getting to work with my friends. It has been a really great year.


What were your lows and high? (Explain in detail)
My lowes are not listing sometimes in class and talking to my friends
instead. I think I am now starting to stay on task and when my friends
start to talk to me I ignore them.
My thighs are getting this year in tangaroa with all of these amazing
teachers and kids it has been so great if I could go back and change
I wouldn't i would keep it the same.


Were there any embarrassing moments during your time in Tangaroa?
Yes when I was sitting next to my friends and then she was talking and
Igot the blame and the teacher sent me out of the class room in front of
everyone

How to make a sandwich
Step one

How to use spark lines on a graph

1. go on to your graph
2.write in you days of the week
3. and write down the side what you doing every day of the week
4. when you write the first one it then put down the other side sparklines and it should show up
and then when you put in the other ones for the days that you do it then it will change as you put them in and it has help me to show how much i have improved

How my math has been






in my math's group I wasn't really here as you may see on the graph I think I did a lot better than at the start of the year and I think I did do well for the days I was here though.

and this week on Monday I wasn't here because I was sick and then I tried coming on Tuesday when we did one of the tests and I wasn't here on Wednesday because I nearly feinted.
on Thursday we have technology so we didn't have math so there for we couldn't do it.
and i got 10 out of 10 today.

I think I like it better now in math's because I understand it a lot more than I ever have had because my lovely teacher Sharon has help me and she is so amazing thank you Sharon. 

letter to the year 6's

In tangaroa we have normally literacy, maths, silent reading, and p.e. And if it's in summer than there
would be swimming and with all my work has improved and I hope your work improved as well and there
is an amazing teacher that will help you so don't worry but if you need help just ask they will be so nice
about it.


If you are feeling worried about coming in to tangaroa and adapting to a new class it’s not all bad
because when you find the right group for you and make sure it’s right  than you should fit in fast.


You don't just half to try and fit into a group just like that there are many ways but this was the way I did
it to adapt faster than I normally would. 


But the work isn't that hard it’s like in the other class at Rawhiti school there is literacy, maths, inquiry,
silent reading and if it’s it summer and the pool is opened then we would have swimming.


What we do in swimming:
Well we do 6 lengths of the pool and then we have the rest of free time.  I haven't been swimming yet
but i think i would start because its not meant to go below 20 °C this whole week and weekend so I
think I definitely starting to swim again.


What we do in maths:
Its like any other maths we got to choose what we want to keep learning i wanted to do fractions
because I didn't know that much about it so i chose it and sharon it doing the fractions she helps me
a lot with it and know I understand it way better than before.


What we do in literacy:
For literacy i am in nogo group. We do challenging work like Arguments, short stories, long stories,
novels and even test but there not all that bad anymore because nogo help me understand all of it and
now I can do all my work faster I am glad i am finishing all my work and even more work than i am
meant to and maybe you will to.


What we do in silent reading:
Well it says in its name silent reading we can not get up and walk around we stay seated for 30 minutes
or more and if you finish your book than you should have gotten more books because you have to start
reading the book again.


What we do in inquiry:
Well when we were doing the science me and three of my friends wanted to do the hokey pokey now t
his was very fun in some ways at the end though there was a lot of drama of who was  getting it at the
time it was fun drama but now in release i wish i wasn't in the drama. And now in inquiry we are doing i
movies and they are really fun activity and i know it takes a lot of time to get it right so don't panic it
always will take some time.

Tokens

The Tokens are a privilege if we are caught doing something good in the playground we will get a token that we would take to the offices and put it in three options there was pool party, dance party and movie day so you can go in and put it into what ever one you would want to do and they don't do it every week they do it when it gets full and the one that won was pool party and well we cant fit six hundred kids into a pool so what we are doing is going by our swimming time my class the year seven and eight have got the best time its 2:15 to 3:00 pm normally if we have plan a pool party out side of school the we would have it 5:30 to 6:30 pm put since it is for our tokens it isn't witch is kinda a good thing so then everyone will be there but i'm not swimming because i didn't bring my togs  and well then i will be watching witch i am very happy with and also today is mufti day and today is going so well so i think so far hopefully it keeps going good and if it is then i am going to be in a good mood and will probably go home and clean and get along with everyone probably not thought

Goldilocks and the three bears recount #part 1

Narrator:
Once upon a time there was a little girl with blond hair and bright blue eyes running through the woods,
she just ran away from her home her parents where going the a hard time and she was getting caught
up in it.
Her parents didn’t know that she was gone yet.
She kept running through the woods until she found a small cottage.
Bears: 
“Come on son get up your breakfast is ready” said mother bear.
“Ok” said baby bear.
Narrator:
So they all got up.
Bears: 
Baby bear “thank you mum but its too hot” 
Farther bear “yes so is mine”
“Okay then we will go for a walk to the park” said mum bear
Narrator:
So they went for a walk to the park
Goldilocks: 
Mmm i smell something good in here 
Narrator:
She poked her head through the door and stepped inside and walked into the kitchen she saw the food
sitting on the kitchen table.
She look at the chairs she sat on the biggest 
Goldilocks: 
“ew” no not this one it is too hard but let try the porridge “ow” this one is very hot  
Next she sat on a medium size chair “o” this one is too soft but i will still try the porridge “yuck” this one
i cold 
Last there was a small blue chair “yay” this one is just right maybe the porridge is just right too.
Narrator: 
And indeed it was.
After she finished the porridge and a while past she felt like she needed a sleep she walk up the stairs
and walk into a room with three beds in it she layed on the big red bed 
Goldilocks: 
“Ouch” no no no this is too hard i don’t like it 
Narrator: 
Next she sat on the purple medium sized bed 
Goldilocks: 
“Mmm” this is just not the best fit for me 
Narrator: 
So last of all she walked to the opposite size the small blue bed and layed down on it
Goldilocks: 
“Oooo” this one is perfect for me
I’m just going to have a small lay down
Narrator: 
Oh no the bears came back from the park and Goldilocks was asleep in little bears bed 
The bears walk in the door and they didn't notice that the door was opened but they when into the
kitchen to eat there porridge but oh no all there porridge where touch and all the chairs were moved
around.
Bears: 
“Mum i can hear something up stairs” said baby bear
Father bear said “yeah i can hear it to”
Narrator:
So they walked up stairs and when they got up there they all said 
Bears:
“WHO ARE YOU” all the bears said
Narrator:
Goldilocks got up in a hurry and was very scared
Goldilocks:
Who are you may i ask
Bears:
Mother  bear who are we, we are the three bear
Farther bear who are you 
Goldilocks: 
I am Goldilocks it's a pleasure to meet you i am sorry i eat you food and missed up you house you
make really good porridge
Bears:
Thank you said mother bear do you want more 
Goldilocks: 
“Yes just like the blue small bowl please”
Narrator:
So they eat until……...
